Ever wonder what the first movie was that featured a cell phone? Any guesses…….the first movie was the 1987 smash hit Wall Street staring Michael Douglas. Of course the phone that was used was “the brick”. The phone appeared in a number of scenes throughout the movie. Nowadays it’s hard to watch a movie that doesn’t have someone using a cell phone in it.
I always knew that cell phone touchscreens could be used for so much more than simply typing in phone numbers and browsing the web. With the ability to scroll and slide with the touch of a finger it was only a matter of time until somebody came up with this app. The app is Peekababe. Peekababe allow you, with a swipe of the finger, to undress women. You can quickly slide off and slide on womens clothing to reveal what they have on underneath. Sorry, but no nudity included. Just some good clean fun. The app sells for $0.99 and can be found in the Apple app store. Here’s a short demo video.

If you were one of the purchasers of the Tag Heuer Merediist ($2,000) and you were looking for a Bluetooth headset to match your phone then you’re in luck. Tag Heuer has creating a matching Bluetooth headset. The headset serves two roles. Not only is it a Bluetooth headset, but it also double as a 4GB USB drive. Kind of a different concept, but I like it. The headset can be charged via USB which eliminates the need for those annoying docking stations. No word yet on when the headset will go on-sale or pricing. Of course the headset will work for any Bluetooth enabled phone. So if you couldn’t afford the $2,000 Merediist then you can still look cooling using it with your current phone.
Below you’ll find a video depicting an upgraded or otherwise customized Android version for the HTC Hero. Now the video is titled HTC Hero, but since you can’t actually see the phone I’m not willing to say it’s a Hero. On the other hand, the platform (some sort of Android look alike) is definitely real. I’m sure we’re going to hear more about this video in the coming days and weeks.
