High-Level Comparison of Android Marketplace, Apple App Store and Blackberry App World
Below you’ll find a high-level comparison of the Apple App Store, Blackberry App World and Google’s Android Marketplace. There isn’t a whole lot of information, but if gives you a good idea of how they compare to one another.
Since the app market is still in its infancy there aren’t a lot of standards when it comes to the cost of applications. For example: GLU Mobile’s Build-A-Lot game costs $9.99 on BlackBerry, but $4.99 on Android and $1.99 on Apple. Also the exact same apps rate well on one app store and bad on another. As time goes on I’m sure there will be more standardization across the board.
