Is Twitter Down? Yes

I know that many of you use your cell phones to access twitter so I thought I would let you all know (in case you didn’t already) that twitter is down. If you want to follow the status go to Twitter Status.

Update: the current cause is a “denial-of-service attack” which is defined as an attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users. Basically some hacker(s) have a big smile on their face for this sinister accomplishment.
